Don’t wait to relocate!
My daytime job’s full-time
But not for my lifetime
Low pay no overtime
I thought for a long time
There ought to be free time
(Time for much more me time
Sadly not at prime time)
To relocate in time
Job loss remote meantime
My boss thought for some time
(Maybe one hour part-time)
And now thinks it’s high time
For me to get downtime
Be let go anytime
Maybe morning tea time
And be gone by lunchtime

How definite is your move?
You may relocate to a new place or maybe time (in your life). Your relocation may be physical (space or body) or mental (mind). You may also relocate something (find it again).
You may also have to relocate someone (perhaps a family member with dementia or someone who is unwell).
All change may involve some sort of relocation or even a paradigm shift.
All the best for your future.

wow….nice rhyme time….must be written at times square….or…. to be published in Time magazine….
Thank you. I almost didn’t write a poem for today’s prompt. I like the idea of times square (I have a maths background). Maybe prime time (TV) might suit better? This is the first time I’ve written a poem with the same word at the end of every line.
I’ve just added in a prime time line 😉
Not a bad first try…..you can now go for second….as the second is not possible without trying the first….isn’t it..?
I’ll leave it to you to see what you can achieve. Choose a word and create a poem using as many meanings/ connotations/ variations/ usages as possible for the word, ending each line with that word. Good luck. I hope you have enough free time to do this. Don’t waste your time. Use your time wisely.
