Daily prompt: Egg
Wow – here’s a weird coincidence: I went to see my eldest daughter this evening, and she showed me a picture my 8 year-old grandson had drawn at school. It was a copy of this one, and it was really accomplished for his age. Hands are notoriously difficult, but his hand was amazingly convincing, (although the angle of the little finger wasn’t quite natural). Instead of a reflection of Escher, he’d drawn an alien-type figure. His perspective was spot-on.
The surprise took my attention away from the poem, so I had to read it a couple more times. Nicely done…
Thanks Jane. The original was the crystal ball shape. I changed it to an egg so it was another ‘new’ Escher.
