Every day (an acrostic)

Every day we wish prompts had not gone away

Always we still want them to stay

Today we miss them so why did they go away

How we wish we had a place to play

Up in the attic we want to hide away

Monthly, prompts are not what they used to be

Bloody shadow’s hanging over me

Little is left to say

Poetry, is not now what it used to be

If only the daily prompts were still here to see
