Question 2 (below) was originally posted as a
“Gotcha” question for the winner of the previous competitions- it turned out to be only a minor challenge ;).
How well can you do?
Starting question (easy).
A man goes 10 km due south and then 10 km due west. He shoots a bear.
He then goes 10 km due north and finds himself back to where he started.
Question: What colour was the bear?
Please answer the starting question before you read any further.
Question 2
Forget about the bear. Is there anywhere else on earth that you can repeat the man’s route and still get back to where you started from?
Question 3 (etc.)
Repeat question 2 until your answer is “No.”
